ReachForce is seeking a mid-level to senior software developer to work in a dynamic development environment for an established and growing startup. This opportunity is to assist in the creation of a new platform, cloud-based software/ SaaS, and will enable the company?s next major growth cycle.
Job responsibilities will include developing applications in Java and Groovy/Grails, creating a web application for both internal and external use, working closely with sales and product teams on product requirements as well as interaction with several partners. This position is based at our office in Austin, Texas. This is not a virtual position. No immigration visa sponsorship available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Skills and qualifications required:
Server Side Java
Spring Framework
Hibernate or similar Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools
Linux experience a plus
Familiarity with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEs
Grails experience a big plus, but not required
SQL, MySQL or Oracle a plus
3+ years in a collaborative development environment
Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery are highly desired
Practice in Agile or SCRUM or similar processes a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
