Some of the things you might be doing include?
You will be developing core server components for our predictive analytics platform
Solving interesting technical problems to allow users to quickly work with big datasets (from Hadoop and other big data sources)
Writing server components which leverage external numerical and machine learning libraries in a scalable way to solve a complex data problem
Adding new features to the existing distributed server architecture
Implementing scalable mathematical, statistical or machine learning libraries.
Who you are?
Experienced. You are a developer with at least three years of experience who loves coding and has a passion for solving complex problems. You have solid development skills with object oriented languages (Java, C++ or C#), algorithms and data structures, and a background in mathematics and statistics
Highly Technical. You love writing things that ?just work? ? things that are robust, scalable, and that perform well. You enjoy collaborating, learning from or teaching others so we can all become better developers. Ideally, you have experience developing large-scale distributed applications.
Some additional requirements:
Bachelors or Master?s degree (preferred) with emphasis in one or more of the following areas; Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Econometrics
Experience with machine learning or numerical and statistical software is a big plus
