Full-Time PositionAs SDET, you will work with a team bringing a new enterprise storage and security solution to market. In addition to all-around development and testing skills, you will bring expertise in testing multi-tiered enterprise applications.
Essential functions
Design and implement automated software tests.
Ensure that software is testable and that corresponding unit tests are implemented.
Partner in the software design process.
Ensure that product quality is well understood at all stages of development.
Achieve both personal and team success by delivering robust, shippable products on schedule.
Minimum candidate requirements
At least BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
6+ years experience in software QA roles
4+ years of Java or other object-oriented development experience
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages
Experience testing highly scalable enterprise software
Must be a self-starter, creative, highly motivated and responsible
Must have a solid understanding of the entire software engineering lifecycle
Experience working with virtualized environments
Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products on time and on budget
Must be a team player - we are a small company and the ability to interact well with fellow team members is crucial
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired experience (preferred but not essential)
Network file systems such as CIFS, NFS, and/or WebDAV
Testing tools such as JUnit and Selenium
Agile processes
Solid Linux background
