About the role:
You will join a team of algorithm scientists and software developers building custom image processing algorithms to produce vast quantities of remotely sensed imagery. Your responsibilities will include building tools and systems to improve these image processing algorithms, as well as writing and executing tests plans. A background in image and signal processing theory is helpful but not required. Familiarity with software development for parallel computing platforms is preferred.
Skills and Experience:
BS (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other similar degree
Excellent C/C++, Python or Java development skills in a Linux environment
In-depth knowledge of QA processes and testing tools
Experience with SQL (Postgres) or NoSQL (Hadoop stack) databases
Experience developing in a multithreaded environment (GPU) is a plus
