Essentials...
? Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline, or equivalent related experience
? Development of automated and manual functional, component, performance and system test cases
? Ability to write intermediate SQL code
? Ability to write code in an object-oriented language, such as C#
? Understands quality assurance methodologies and the principles of software design
? Experience developing and executing test plans
? Experience writing test automation in at least 2 of the 3 main layers, Unit, Services/Integration, UI
? Experience collaborating with programmers and business analysts to ensure a quality software application
? Strong problem solving skills
? Self-motivated and willing to ?do what it takes? to get the job done
? High degree of organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
? Desire to learn new methodologies that will enhance job performance
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bonus points...
? Any Agile Software Development experience such as Scrum, Test First Development, Test Driven Development, Extreme Programming
? Experience using automated testing tools like Microsoft Test Manager, NUnit, Loadrunner, Watin, Selenium and/or other test automation tools
? Experience developing your own testing tools to facilitate testing a plus
? IIS 7/7.5
? SQL Server 2008/R2
? Unit Testing and TDD
