Will work with team to develop, deploy and support major brokerage client applications.Required Skills:
Analyze and troubleshoot existing code and make modifications to remedy issues within an existing Java framework.
Meet tight deadlines and work on several projects simultaneously.
Work within a team environment as well as work independently on projects.
Review business/functional requirements, and provide detailed design specifications and estimates of work required.
Translate project design into code, working within an existing Java framework.
Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
Masters degree or Bachelors degree plus 5 years in related field.
