Redfin is looking for a full time mobile developer in its downtown San Francisco office. Our iPhone app was featured in Apple's TV ad campaign, but we're not even close to done. Come help us create the next set of mobile, UGC, and next-generation user interface features that will make Redfin the best real estate application ever.Who you really are: You are a creative, talented developer who thinks like an end user, who knows that 90% done is only half done, and who can build rock-solid code that will withstand millions of downloads. You love beautiful, simple user interfaces, and you constantly wonder what you could have done to make your last project simpler. You love working with a smart, talented team, because you know that makes you better, and when you disagree, you disagree constructively, with respect for everyone else's opinions and ideas.
The Tools: Create sexy, substantive mobile applications for the iPhone, Android, Blackberry platforms and whatever comes next. We're interested in your expertise in Objective C, Java and other mobile languages -- the most important thing is that you pick up new technologies quickly and eagerly. You should feel at home with AJAX based websites, JavaScript and jQuery. We don't expect you to have used all these tools, although it's great if you have.
