SourceMedical is currently seeking a Software Developer for its location in Birmingham, AL supporting our Therapy Division.


Summary of Position:

As a Software Developer, you will be a key member of the SourceMedical Product Development team with the overall responsibility for analyzing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting various features in both existing and new system modules.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
--Develop, test, document and implement software applications
--Evaluate, modify, and integrate existing large software applications
--Interact with business analysts in the design of new features and the creation of requirements documents
--Familiar with a variety of the field?s concepts, practices, and procedures
--Support and/or install software applications/operating systems
--Other tasks as assigned by manager


Education/Qualifications:
--B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
--At least 2-4 years demonstrated experience with OOP, OOD, OOA
--Proven experience with MS Technologies, including C#, C++/COM, VB, .NET, WinForms, WebServices, and SQL along with a solid computer science foundation
--Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
--Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and oral
--Able to work independently on projects
--Team player who is able to work in a dynamic team environment
