Software Developer - Web Services Mission Research

Basic Purpose:This individual will be a member of the online services development team. Mission Research is looking for a web services developer to be involved with the design, development, and deployment of online services for our small-business and non-profit desktop products. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the development of a new product line based around web services which provide online tools for our growing base of desktop customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Use proper programming techniques to develop web-based products and solutions.
Understand testing techniques to ensure a high level of quality.
Must be able to work with other developers.
Create design specifications.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
3 years experience designing, developing, and deploying web-based solutions.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of related Microsoft development languages and technologies, including ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server and Windows Server.
Must understand the software development process.
Fast and motivated learner - needs to get up-to-speed on GiftWorks application, and corporate structure independently and quickly.
Must possess the skills and personality to be a member of a small team.
