Software Development Engineer NextIO
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:This position requires at least 5 years experience in server-based management software with emphasis on strong code development skills in an embedded environment.
The right individual will have code development of hardware data providers in a Linux environment as a core competency and will have responsibilities for the data object implementation for NextIO specific hardware within a server chassis environment. Additionally, this position requires experience with object-oriented design, basic UI design and implementation with a constrained memory footprint.
This SW Engineer will work closely with other senior SW developers and will be expected to participate in many disciplines of the code stack with short learning curves. Working within the team, they must ensure all critical components of the product are tightly managed and adhere to industry standards for server peripheral management.
REQUIREMENTS:
C/C, Lua, Web-based Mgmt. on Embedded Systems, Linux
Additional Consideration: CIM Schema, CIM-XML, Linux Driver Development, Server and Chassis Management Application development, PCI and PCIe knowledge
