Yammer is looking for an experienced Security Engineer with expertise in web application security and secure development best practices. You will work on the security team within engineering to test, monitor and improve the security of Yammer.
What you?ll do:
Perform regular penetration tests of the Yammer web application
Conduct security reviews of new features
Work with engineers to develop and test security fixes
Utilize and process the output from automated security scanning tools
Make recommendations to improve the security of the Yammer application
Monitor security analytics and investigate anomalies
Develop tools to assist in detection, prevention and analysis of security threats
Desired skills:
Extensive experience performing web application penetration testing
Detailed familiarity with common web application vulnerabilities
Strong fundamental understanding of security best practices and attack and defense techniques for enterprise networks and applications
Familiarity with modern programming languages (strong Ruby knowledge a plus)
Working knowledge of modern security testing tools and applications
Candidates must be able to meet customer security screening requirements as indicated for this role. Customer screening requirements may include additional items such as, but not limited to: specialized agency background checks (either national or local) and fingerprinting. All employees hired into roles supporting Cloud Offerings will also be required to pass Microsoft background checks prior to the start of employment and every two years thereafter.
