Yammer is looking for an individual with strong QA skills and solid experience working on large-scale projects. An ideal candidate enjoys working in a fun-loving, dog-friendly, collaborative environment and has a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for themselves and for their team members. This individual will be conceptualizing, designing, documenting and implementing tests for applications based in primarily in a Windows Server environment.
Responsibilities:
Verify Engineering teams are developing new features as specified by Product team
Test bug fixes across multiple server versions and application versions
Keep management informed of weekly release progress and escalate issues when needed
Ensure all known issues are addressed and logged in Jira
Be an expert and source of knowledge on all aspects of the Yammer product
Develop Yammer's QA process for integration products
Write and execute test plans, both automated and manual
Create and maintain QA environments
Manage beta releases rollouts to demo environments
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of QA processes and testing tools (Firebug, developer tools, Charles, etc.)
Basic knowledge of Windows Server applications
Willingness to learn, or prior knowledge of scripting or programming (ruby on rails, selenium)
Fast learner and an ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment without supervision or specific assignments
Ability to manage priorities when working against extremely tight deadlines (Weekly releases)
Tech savvy with a passion for technology
Major Pluses:
Testing Active Directory or SharePoint based applications
Experience programming with APIs
Experience with HTML and Javascript
