As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in the Platform Engineering group at Good Technology, you will contribute to the delivery, testing, and automation of our Good Dynamics platform. In this position you will focus on working with a small team that is focused on the NOC components of our platform. You will drive the development and utilization of robust and scalable test automation frameworks used to deliver the Good Dynamics platform that allow for the manipulation of both web based applications and the user interface of test applications that you develop and deploy on mobile device platforms including iPhone, Android, and Windows Mobile.
Keys to Success:
? Strong experience testing client-server, enterprise, and mobile applications
? Knowledge of QA methodology, test tools, and Agile processes
? Experience with test automation, scripting, and test frameworks
? Strong analytical and logic analysis skills, capable of troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis
Responsibilities include:
? Defining and executing functional and system tests that verify proper behavior of the services running in the Good Dynamics NOC environment.
? Developing automated test scripts that utilize existing tools and tools you develop to automate functional, system, performance, scalability, load, stress, and regression tests.
Educational Requirements:
? BS Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
Required Skills & Experience:
? Experience working with wireless Internet devices and mobile applications
? Knowledge of CentOS and Internet protocols (TCP/IP, POP3, IMAP)
? Working knowledge of OS X, iOS, Windows, and Linux
? Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks
? Experience with performance, scalability, reliability testing in distributed environment
? Experience testing enterprise-scale products
? Hands-on experience with Java, C++, Python, and shell scripting
Preferred Skills:
? Distributed computing, scalable multi-tier services
? Experience implementing test automation frameworks using Java or Python
? Network technologies and protocols (proxy servers, load balancers, HTTP, TCP/IP)
? Experience and knowledge of wireless protocols
? Prior experience with mobile device testing and development
