As a developer on the Amalga Data Platform team, you will be working on the design and development of core technologies across the Amalga data processing spectrum. This spans data ingestion, transformation and correlation extensibility; data aggregation, data access and access control infrastructures; and data access APIs and developer tools. You will have the opportunity to work in a rapidly growing business with talented software engineers and medical domain experts. You will leverage and interface with current and emerging technologies like SQL Server, WCF, Active Directory, OData, Azure and HL7. Responsibilities include architecture, feature design and implementation, and collaborating with partner teams to achieve results. You will be expected to design and develop the product within cross-functional feature crews, and will deliver detailed architecture and implementation documents and schedules for your feature areas that account for dependencies. You will ensure a high level of code quality and will follow and contribute to team processes and best practices.
Ideal candidates will have experience building platform services for enterprise class products designed for performance, robustness, scalability, customization and upgradability. Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of commercial product development experience, design and implementation ownership of complex software features, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and critical thinking. Proficiency in C# is essential. You must have strong analytical skills and a strong drive for excellence. Experience in one or more areas of Data Modeling, SQL Server, Data Processing and Analytics, ADO.NET, Web Services, Active Directory, Azure and Distributed Computing is a strong plus. A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
