Some Key Responsibilities include:
Designs, constructs, implements and tests new software features and enhancements to existing software. Takes responsibility and pride in delivering on-time, with high quality, and in accordance with all established coding standards.
Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills to proactively communicate with other development team members.
Documents practices developed with the team as well as application enhancements.
Shares knowledge with peers.
Participates in establishing software development quality standards and ensures that all projects follow those standards.
Skills/Requirements/Qualifications:
Develop solutions for searching large amounts of data
Architect product solutions using Java, SQL, XML, Spring and other web technologies
B.S. is Computer Science or related field.
Five plus years of software development experience (design, code, and test).
Demonstrated ability to create design document elements from established project requirements.
Three years of Java development.
Solid knowledge of multi threaded programming is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in database code development. Three years of PL/SQL development preferred.
Solid knowledge of J2EE
Solid knowledge of Linux and BASH scripting.
Solid understanding of Oracle database concepts.
Solid back end server background.
Understand the software development lifecycle.
Demonstrated the ability to work well individually and within a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Passionate about self-improvement and team excellence.
