Software Development Manager: lead design & development of .net game-changing SaaS product suiteVertafore is building game-changing software in Bothell and we're looking for an experienced Development Manager who is passionate about leading teams designing enterprise-scale solutions and who thrives on big challenges. While our competitors are building solutions that solve yesterday?s problems, we?re looking for a Development Manager capable of leading the development of solutions that truly change the way our customers do business.
The AMS360 product is at the heart of the Vertafore Agency Platform providing services that support policy management and more. The challenges you will face include building service-oriented applications that expose functionality that integrates with a suite of capabilities, evolving the technology to the target architecture, and leading product teams to achieve the product vision through active mentoring, technical decision-making and facilitating company-wide collaboration.
Qualifications desired to impact our product and your success include:
People management experience with a proven history of coaching and mentoring individuals to succeed
Ability to articulate long term vision while acting tactically to take the next step with the team
Create a culture where team members have a growing sense of feature ownership, are energized and passionate in what they are doing
Promote an environment that brings creativity to the workplace & grows our talent
Possess technical aptitude to participate in architecture reviews; ideally in a .net environment
Working experience with service oriented architecture a plus
Proven to be a proponent of Agile even when challenged
Close collaboration with business partners to lead projects from concept to market
Create an environment of predictable deliverables
