Software Development Manager - Consumer/Mobile Inrix

INRIX is looking for a proactive and hardworking Software Development Manager to join and lead our mobile/consumer development team. You will need to have strong problem solving skills, have the ability to multitask in a fast paced, very dynamic environment and have an established background in mobile or consumer applications.
You will be responsible for leading a team of developers building navigation applications (INRIX Traffic) to new heights of usability and functionality. As the Development Manager on the mobile team, you will be responsible for implementing cross platform standards, delivery schedules and architectural decisions. The position will report to the VP, Mobile.
Key Responsibilities:

Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments; manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team.
Management of departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team.
Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach. Be a hands-on technical leader and contributor.
Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
5+ years experience in software development and 2+ years as a Development Manager.
Bachelor?s Degree in CS/CE or equivalent
Strong mobile programming skills
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Excitement and passion to work on amazing products
Passion for product quality and attention to details
Comfortable with rapid development cycles, tight schedules
A demonstrated breadth and creativity in UI implementations.
Demonstrable history hiring and developing personnel.
