Software Development Manager SoftGate
Duties: Draw on software development experience and skills with OOP, .NET framework, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.Net, HTML, CSS JavaScript, Visual Studio 2008/2005/2003, XML, XSLT, Web Services, WPF, WCF, WWF, LINQ, AJAX, MS Reporting Services, IIS Server, SQL Server/2008/2005 to coordinate day-to-day software development activities and provide technical leadership to the in-house and off-shore software development teams. Produce technical, architectural specifications by analyzing the business and functional requirements. Produce technical design specifications by understanding the detailed technical specifications and applications that are impacted. Translate technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules. Propose effective/optimal and alternatives solutions to complex requirements. Provide technical leadership in design, development and operations of new and existing software applications. Develop applications using technologies including, but not limited to, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net XML and Web Services technologies, WPF, WCF, WWF, LINQ, AJAX, Visual Studio 2008/2005/2003, SQL-Server 2008/2005, MS Reporting Services. Prepare project plans and the roadmap for the modules assigned to different development teams and coordinate with the teams to achieve on-time and on-budget delivery. Define development standards and ensure that they are adhered to by conducting and actively participating in design and code review sessions. Create and execute appropriate quality assurance plans and test strategies and processes. Responsible for user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality related activities. Responsible for the technical coordination with third-party technical teams and code management, version control, change control management and production deployment. Conduct technical delivery reviews, and make recommendations for process improvements. Analyze and resolves production issues or defects. Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 5 years of software development experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above.
