WHI Solutions, an eBay Company, is one of the fastest growing software companies in the country. We provide web based eBusiness solutions to the Transportation Market. Solutions include eCommerce, eCatalog, Distribution Management and Business Intelligence. Our core customers are Automotive and Heavy Duty Parts sellers and Service Providers.This position will be responsible for maintenance as well as adding new functionality to our eCommerce application called Nexpart. The work will all be UI work developing primarily in PHP. The ideal candidate will have worked as part of a team. The candidate will need to communicate with the business to understand and interpret the business requirements and be able to turn them into technical specifications.
Job Requirements
5+ Years PHP 4/5
Object Oriented Programming experience a must.
Experience with technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, and CSS.
Good Understanding of database concepts and principles (SQL Server 2005/2008 & MySQL)
Working knowledge of Linux operating system
Experience working with MVC frameworks.
Experience with memcache.
Knowledge of consuming and creating Web Services.
Experience with flash a plus
Experience with multiple development methodologies i.e., Agile, Waterfall etc.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and solving complex problems
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be a team player
Must be highly motivated, creative and thorough.
Undergraduate or Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field desired.
Education
BSCS or BSEE or Other Related 4yr Technical Degree
