Your Mission:
The Quantivo platform is engineered to eliminate the complexity of the underlying technology, so users don't have to burden themselves with the details. This position is at the forefront of the challenge, with the responsibility for developing powerful but clean and easy-to-use customer-facing applications for loading and manipulating data, for creating sophisticated analytics queries without the need for programming, and for visualizing and displaying analytic insights. Your role is to place these capabilities in the hands of our customers and partners, simply and elegantly. The position requires a background in developing rich Internet client applications and a passion for simplicity and elegant architecture and design.
Your Responsibilities:
Design and implement clean and compelling web applications, application-tier through presentation, which customers love to use
Contribute your expertise to the team and in turn benefit from the knowledge and expertise of others
Partner with the QA and Operations teams to facilitate testable designs, quality software, and fanatic customers
Innovate in alignment with our business vision and customer requirements
Strive for excellence in customer experience, technology, methodology, and execution
Simplify, simplify, simplify!
Your Profile:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or similar)
4 or more years relevant work experience
Journeyman programming skills in Java and JavaScript
A full toolbox for building web applications including knowledge of application frameworks and UI libraries
Strong knowledge of the LAMP stack plus familiarity with Windows as a development environment
Experience using agile software development methods
Flexible, pragmatic, creative and open-minded
Ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment
Excellent verbal, listening, presentation, and writing skills
Strong sense of responsibility and good at taking the initiative
