Responsibilities:
We have an immediate need for a Software Engineer with java development and some HTMLweb development experience. The candidate will work on a team of developers to create line-of-business applications that solve customer problems. The candidate should have some experience with HTML and web development to support web based application tooling.
Responsibilities
Analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment of business applications in an object oriented environment
Maintenance and support of line of business applications
Follow the development process and steps as outlined and ensure code reuse and efficiency.
Provide proper documentation throughout development lifecycle
Troubleshooting and correcting program errors or defects
Properly escalate issues to meet deadlines
Coordination with QA testers to ensure end to end unit testing and post production testing
Follow established software development processes
Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-5 years of object oriented development experience and programming methodologies in a professional setting
Strong software development experience using Java/J2EE and Spring
JSF Experience is highly preferred
Prime Faces experience is recommended
Web development experience recommended
Experience working with relational databases is recommended
Effective verbal and written communications
Problem solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutions
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and understand key issues quickly
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions while keeping management informed
