Description
Software Engineer
At E2open, you will be an integral member of a dynamic organization, working on cutting-edge technology that transforms the way companies do business with their trading partners in complex, multi-tier supply chains. Currently, E2open is seeking an energetic Application Engineer to join our Research & Development Group. This position involves the development of leading edge Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) supply chain management applications that drive complex multi-company supply chain management dashboards, workflows, and business-to-business supply chain data interchanges.
Responsibilities
Develop complex multi-enterprise supply chain management applications
Participate in architecture and technical design of product enhancements
Work with test team to ensure our software products and services are delivered with automated test coverage.
Work with our technical writers to ensure our software products and services are properly documented
Requirements
Insatiable desire to learn
1+ years of experience in software development in Java
Experience developing scalable Java server applications
Experience working with database technologies
Understanding of Web UI technologies
Experience in performance testing will be additional advantage
Minimum, Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
Must be fluent in English
Preferred Technical requirements
Understanding of Web 2.0 UI technologies
Understanding of scalable web application architectures and technologies including Unix, java, application servers, web services, databases
Experience developing Supply Chain and/or ERP applications is a plus
Agile/Scrum development experience is a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
