A10 Networks seeks to hire Software Engineers in the Automation team. Role & Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain automation framework, test harness and automation libraries.
Create and manage automation project schedules with the team. Build Design and test matrix documents required for each automation project.
Design and maintain test beds to ensure product quality
Work with QA and SW teams in all aspect of the automation framework development process from requirement gathering through iterative test cycles.
Requirements:
Must have debugging and working knowledge of Linux/UNIX.
Expert level (minimum 3 years of experience) in one of the scripting language Tcl or Perl.
Hands on network programming (Socket, Server/client, TCPIP, L2 and L3 network protocols)
Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols ? BGP, OSPF, RIP, and ISIS.
Strong experience with application delivery and server load balancing products
Experience with test equipment such as Ixia, Spirent to test network products
Good understanding of QA methodology ? test plans, test cycles, SW releases, and test management tools such as Bug tracking and test case repositories.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education:
BS/MS in a computer related field or equivalent work experience.
