We?re looking for a talented Software Engineer with a proven track record working with complex, multi-process systems. Enthusiasm for solving interesting and complex problems is a MUST. As a Software Engineer, you'll initially work in a small team extending state of art television broadcast graphics and data acquisition systems.The candidate chosen for this role will build and strengthen a broad array of skills, including: analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills, understanding sports broadcast video technology, and the design of complex, dynamic software programs that are seen on National television.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
5 years of experience in software application development.
Strong knowledge and experience of C++ and C#.
Firm understanding and experience with SQL query language (MySQL or SQL Server dialects are preferred).
Experience with MFC and WinForms.
Working knowledge of interacting with Web Services (SOAP or RESTful Interfaces).
Strong interest in object oriented software design and development.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, debugging and problem-solving skills and work well in a team environment.
Must possess the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
Self-starter and motivated to create well engineered software components and systems.
DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS, BUT NOT REQUIRED
MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with Java and STL.
Experience with .NET including ASP.NET and WPF.
Experience with Amazon Elastic Cloud, (EC2), and Relational Database Services (RDS).
Experience with OpenGL, Qt, or other UI toolkits
Hands-on experience with Graphical User Interface Design and Implementation.
Game, film, TV graphics or broadcast video experience.
