RESPONSIBILITIES
Our software team is developing Next-Gen functionality for monitoring and analysis of video and data streams over Mobile and IP networks. Communications service providers require state-of-art monitoring equipment to diagnose network performance ? and EMPIRIX delivers the most innovative technical solutions.

You will participate in design and development of new modules that analyze quality of Adaptive Streaming Video delivered by Apple HLS, Microsoft Silverlight, Adobe Flash 9 and other Adaptive Streaming protocols. Develop software that will recognize and analyze data in 4G LTE and CDMA networks at the protocol level and at the application level, including Instant Messaging, Chat and other Peer-to-Peer applications.

Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or similar
3+ years of experience in C++
Solid understanding of IP networking concepts
Knowledge of media delivery protocols: HTTP, RTSP, RTP
Experience writing software dealing with encoding/decoding, delivery, or monitoring of Voice, Video, or Data over IP network
Knowledge of HLS, Silverlight, Flash 9, RTMP protocols is a huge plus
Knowledge of other Voice and Video codecs and protocols is a plus
Understanding of 4G LTE, CDMA, GSM Mobile Network architectures is a plus
Experience writing software for Video-on-Demand or P2P applications is a plus
