JOB POSITION: BI Reports Developer

JOB LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for rapid development of adaptive enterprise applications in the domains of decision automation, analytics, and planning. Successful candidates will be part of a dynamic new application development initiative utilizing next generation technologies and frameworks to develop packaged software for the markets and customers that Infor serves.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Gain proficiency with Infor tools and frameworks for building analytical applications.

· Development of OLAP data models and cubes

· Requirements analysis and design

· Development of data visualizations and reports

· Development of data transformation rules, meta data, and application business rules

· Development of applications that incorporate predictive analytics, decision automation, and planning

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software engineering or related field (required)

· Advanced degree or training in computer software engineering or related field (optional)

· 2-4 years experience in consulting or software development in a field relating to business intelligence, data warehousing, reporting, or analytics

Required Skills:

· Working knowledge of Business Intelligence, OLAP, predictive analytics concepts

· Working knowledge of relational databases

· Programming experience in Java, Python, .NET or similar language

preferred skills & KNOWLEDGE:

· Experience in AJAX style development

· Experience with services-oriented frameworks

· Proficiency with UNIX-based development environments and command line

· Javascript and CSS

· Experience with data modeling techniques and tools for data warehouses, and decision automation

· Experience with NoSQL databases and concepts

· Knowledge of functional software development languages such as Haskell, Lisp, or logic languages such as Prolog
