The product is deployable on web, mobile and tablet platforms.
Position Overview
MedAptus is seeking a full time software developer to join our development team in Boston, MA. We are seeking a self-starting and self-motivated professional to assist us in the build out of our core product. This individual will work with a small team of developers to both enhance and maintain our products. S/he will also be involved in developing new product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a Java/RDBMS/Web background and a track record of getting things done.
Required Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of professional development experience, with at least 2 years working with Java web technologies and relational databases
Proven ability to deliver high quality code
Excellent grasp of object-oriented analysis and design
Experience working in a team, delivering high-quality products to paying customers
Demonstrated ability to design and implement software based on documented requirements
Core Technical Skills
Java - J2SE 1.5, J2EE 1.3, JSP, JDBC
XML - experience with parsing XML and transforming it using XSLT
SQL schema design and query implementation
HTML, CSS and Javascript
Desired Skills and Qualifications
GWT 2.x
Javascript frameworks: JQuery, Sencha Touch
Mobile web/HTML 5/CSS3 experience
Healthcare experience
