Job Description

Lumension is seeking exceptional software engineers to join our Content Development team. This team is responsible for ensuring the timely production of content with the high degree of quality that our customers expect when they are using several of our key products.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing enterprise class software. They will be able to develop fully automated tools for existing and future Content technologies. In this highly visible position, you will have an opportunity to work with multiple operating systems, platforms, and applications. They will be highly technical, motivated, and results driven.

The successful candidate will be capable of owning large features, have a passion for delivering high quality software and possess a high degree of creativity and enthusiasm. Team work, communication, and collaboration are all important attributes of the candidate, as well as a track record designing and building high quality software.

In addition you will be deploying and maintaining I.T. servers as well as some experience in developing software systems in I.T. environments. You must be capable of maintaining and supporting test server systems, analyzing software problems, and assist in the development of solutions to any problems found. You must be able to mentor other members of your team in the areas you are strongest.

- Experience with understanding of Java
- Experience with understanding of C++ a plus

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent; advanced degree desirable - candidates with a Master's or higher degrees are encouraged to apply. At least four years or more experience in software development and design with a degree or more than 8 years of applicable experience without.
