Job Code: E108Description: We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and highly motivated software engineer to help the development of our proprietary single molecule detection platform. The position will involve the development of a layered software system to include the instrument interface, image analysis and data extraction, database management, and user interface. The engineer will be directly involved with engineers developing the prototype instruments and with chemists and biologists developing proprietary biological assays.
Requirements: Candidates should possess at least a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline and have experience with image analysis tools, management and reduction of large array data sets, and creating user interfaces for scientific users. Good software engineering practices and track record of meeting project timelines and deliverables also required. Experience in the life sciences industry is highly desirable but not required. Candidates should possess at least 35 years of experience using C and the .NET Framework, C++, and MATLAB. Knowledge of LabVIEW is a big plus.
