Job SummaryFirm58 is looking for software engineers to join our team. This position is focused on data transformation and interacting with client data. Job Responsibilities
Capture data from dozens of clients and vendor sources and transform it into meaningful data for our web application.
Create and maintain scripted orchestration technologies to load millions of client transactions nightly in a fully automated, no-touch environment.
Design and implement data and system analysis reports, using front end UI and backend SQL authoring.
Troubleshoot and debug data transformation, orchestration, and verification processes.
Develop automation scripts, interfaces and monitoring around daily customer data importing and exporting.
Job Qualifications
Programming experience preferably with Perl, Python, scripting languages, and shell utilities.
Ability to write SQL queries.
Experience using XML and XML technologies such as XSLT, XPath, or XQuery to represent or transform data is a plus.
Work well in a team environment including customer interactions.
Desire to learn new technologies and the business aspect of a software company.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the capital markets industry is a plus.
