Manta embraces an agile work methodology that emphasizes strong teamwork and personal responsibility ahead of overly formal processes. Our engineers take ownership; have a bias towards action and a commitment to the continuous quality improvement as core values.
We hire engineers who thrive in an autonomous environment- we don't dictate your personal operating system or development tools- and who can give and take constructive feedback (and express disagreement) with maturity.
While a computer science or related degree is great, we also welcome motivated individuals from a variety of educational backgrounds, with varying levels of experience and areas of technological expertise; some of our recent hires include a former math professor, a chemistry PhD, and a former English teacher. As a company, we value people who set personal goals for professional development, so exhibiting motivation to keep up with the state-of-the-art earns major bonus points.
