Job Description:
We are seeking Data Scientists with the passion and experience necessary to design, develop, and support FireEye?s leading edge product suites.
Responsibilities:
?Perform analysis on data related to malware: Infections, Payloads, Communications
?Find hidden trends and relationships in the data
?Work on projects to correlate data from complex data sets
?Work on Machine Learning projects to help in classification
?Develop/Apply advanced algorithms for: clustering, reputation systems, data mining
?Work on systems for data enrichment
?Work on automation systems to better improve analysis life cycle
?Ability to correctly mathetimatically model complex datasets and problems
Qualifications:
?Advanced degree which heavily involved data mining/machine learning/graph theory techniques
?Proven track record of applying advanced research techniques on any given type of data
?Proficient in some scripting language
?Deep understanding of technologies related to data storage: RDBMS, NoSQL, Hadoop, etc
?Innovative mind with ability to apply cutting edge techniques to new problems
?Ability to implement advanced algorithms in any language
?Development ability in LAMP environment
?General understanding of Security is nice to have
?Experience with some data analysis tool like R or similar
?BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience
