The Data Services Engineering team at Zoom Information is looking for someone awesome to join our team. We are a small team that is at the heart of some of the most exciting growth and opportunities within ZoomInfo! Zoom Info leverages its Intellectual Property to comb the web for profiles of companies and their employees. With over 50 million employee records for over 5 million companies, ZoomInfo distinguishes itself by not only collecting and organizing this massive amount of data, but by constantly refreshing these data while adding new companies and employee records.
The Data Services group supports requests from clients all the way up to Fortune 500 companies and supplies custom lists of employees and companies that are not available through our subscription-based tools. We are aggressively growing our capability in Data Services and are looking for the right engineer to join our team.
We work in Java with JBoss, Spring and Struts and our big data engine is Solr with Hadoop for Map/Reduce jobs. We are Agile using a Scrum process and we walk the walk, not just talk the talk. We use Agile to stay responsive to the business needs. Recently, Sales brought a request to us and within two weeks we introduced a feature that immediately started closing sales opportunities. Experienced Java Engineer (3 ? 5 years)
JSE, JBoss, Spring, log4j, hibernate
Other languages a plus
Capable of designing a system, documenting the design and presenting to peers
Significant data manipulation skills
Data analysis
Large Databases
Business Intelligence experience is a big plus
Solr and Hadoop are pluses
Experience in Agile Teams
Serious Team Player
Professional and Capable
