As a senior database developer on the Amalga Data Platform team, you will be working on the design and development of core technologies across the Amalga data processing spectrum. This includes data aggregation, data access and access control infrastructures; data ingestion, transformation and correlation extensibility. You will have the opportunity to work in a new and rapidly growing business with talented software engineers and medical domain experts. Responsibilities include high scale database architecture, T-SQL query design and optimization, troubleshooting & validation, performance investigation and improvement, feature design and implementation, and technical leadership. You will be expected to design and develop the product within cross-functional feature crews, and collaborate with partner teams to achieve results. You will ensure a high level of code quality and will follow and contribute to team processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have solid experience building enterprise class products designed for performance, robustness, scalability, customization and upgradability. Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of commercial software engineering, experience in at least one full product development cycle, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and critical thinking. You must have proven technical leadership skills. Requires 5 years proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, proven expertise with Azure SQL and distributed systems architecture. Technical bachelor?s degree or equivalent preferred.
