DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:This is a hands-on position that requires a candidate who is comfortable in a fast paced, focused, agile development environment. Responsibilities will include working with a team of engineers to design, implement and support high speed, carrier grade IP and SS7 network based applications for NetNumber's Next Generation Telecommunications Addressing and Numbering products.
REQUIREMENTS:
BSCS/MSCS or 1-3 years equivalent experience designing and developing highly available, distributed systems software on Solaris and/or Linux operating systems. The successful candidate will possess an excellent knowledge of object-oriented design and Java and C/C++ programming languages. Some knowledge of SNMP agent development is a plus.
This position requires an individual that can function both independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills are a necessity.
