Responsibilities:
The Compusearch Software Engineer will support the development, maintenance, enhancement, and customizations of current and future applications. Requires web application experience and programming knowledge of one or more of the following: VB.NET, ASP.NET, ASP, PL/SQL, and javascript and related language.
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing code to recognized standards
Maintaining accurate records of objects modified
Attending project meetings and contributing to various discussions
Delivering code within published delivery dates
Writing code that is maintainable and free from error
Running unit tests to ensure code works as designed
Running overall integration tests to ensure code does not adversely affect existing programs
Experience, Skills/Abilities, and Education:
The Compusearch Software Engineer position requires:
Minimum Bachelors Degree in a related field with 3 years of work experience or Masters degree in a related field with one year of work experience
Minimum of 1 year web development experience
Experience with .NET and Oracle
Knowledge of Classic ASP
Knowledge of core web technologies ? HTML, Java script, CSS, XML
Experience with web services development
Experience with classic ASP and ASP to .NET conversion, a plus
Qualified candidates will need to be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time, be able to communicate and work side by side to co-workers, and work on the computer for more than 80% of the time,
Clearance:
Applicants need to meet requirements for security clearances including U.S. Citizenship.
