RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop features of Retrevo's e-commerce application, both Web user interface and backend server functions, based on specifications.
Integrate with external entities in areas of shipping, payment, etc.
Write and maintain unit, regression, and integration tests.
Understand and customize underlying open source e-commerce platform as needed
Work in a small engineering team with aggressive schedule and changing requirements
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of hands-on experience in Java software development
Good problem solving skills; comfortable with understanding inner workings of complex software from source code and experimentation; work well in an agile development process; attention to quality a must.
Experienced in integrating with open source projects. Participation in open source projects a big plus.
2+ years of experience with B2C web applications, preferably in a multi-tenant e-commerce company. Experienced in implementing some of the following business logics: product catalog integration, payment processing, shipping, purchasing, inventory, fulfilment, order management, and analytics using ATG Dynamo, WebSphere commerce, Escalate/Blue Martini, NetSuite or similar e-commerce platforms.
Expert in most of JEE (Servlet, JSP), Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, web services, XML, Groovy, MySQL, HTML/CSS, AJAX, Javascript; well versed in Object-Oriented Programming, Model-View-Controller, and Service-Oriented-Architecture.
Experience with Apache Ofbiz, opentaps, and/or Magento a strong plus
BS/MS in Computer Science.
