Job DescriptionP2 Energy Solutions seeks an Entry Level Software Engineer. This position is responsible for developing, testing, and debugging existing and new software applications using C# on .Net 4 and .Net 3.5 platforms.
Candidates must be flexible and excited about working in a fast paced team environment; exhibit communication and organizational skills; and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Develops User Interfaces for applications using WPF, Infragistics components
Apply generally accepted OO programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting systems and software
Analyzes and solves software issues as they arise both in the development process and after client deploymen
Creates and analyzes SQL queries formed for either Oracle or MS SQL
Skills/Requirements
Experience or exposure to C#, .NET, ADO.NET, Visual Studio 2008/2010 tool sets
Creative, quick learner, problem solver and team player
Good communication and organizational skills
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in Computer Science, MIS, or IT
0-3 years experience in software development or a related field
