Power2Switch is looking for someone who wants to play a big role at a tiny, but funded, startup. If you have a scrappy, entrepreneurial attitude and can create high-quality software quickly then you're off to a great start. We're offering an opportunity to a software developer that wants to experience what it's like to work as part of a small team in a bleeding edge startup that is disrupting a heavily regulated industry of electric utilities.Responsibilities include:
Code in Python, Django, Javascript, and HTML/CSS
Work on implementing new features and optimizing existing ones
Pro-actively look for ways to make Power2Switch better
Skills and experience needed include:
B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Rails
Deep understanding, familiarity and skill with programming for the web.
Be able to write elegant, readable, and well-documented code
Bonus:
Github profile or link to open source work
Experience with Python (particularly Django)
Visual design skills
Knowledge of cross-browser quirks
Data-informed product development: analytics, A/B testing, etc.
A demonstrated history of intellectual and entrepreneurial exploration.
