Software Engineer in Test NexGen Storage

Job Description:NexGen Storage is looking for a highly motivated person to join our growing Engineering team. You will play a key role in our software development and have an opportunity to challenge yourself and to further your knowledge in a highly energized, fast-paced, and innovative environment. As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be an active member of the team having responsibilities in all stages of the product cycle, from design, development and release of the product. There will be a strong emphasis on continually improving our automation framework, developing test cases and performing exploratory testing. We are searching for someone who is able to think creatively and critically while taking pride in shipping great, cutting-edge technologies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in driving the Quality of the product, all the way from requirement specification through release
- Improve and extend internal test frameworks and automated tests
- Perform exploratory product testing
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. (or higher degree) in Computer Science
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with programming in high-level languages (e.g. C#/C++, Java and Python)
- Experience with Test Automation tools (e.g. JUnit, Hudson, FitNesse)
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work and participate in a team setting with an open, collaborative communication style
- Passion for testing and advanced testing as an engineering discipline
- Storage experience is a big plus
- Strong oral and written English
