Software Engineers at WibiData solve a variety of problems. To store, analyze, and serve user information at scale requires ideas and solutions in every area of computer science, including information retrieval, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, distributed computing, large-scale system design, programming language design, networking, security, data compression, user interface design, and machine learning, among others. WibiData Software Engineers utilize advanced big data frameworks such as Hadoop and HBase, programming languages such as Java and Scala, and expertise in data structures, algorithms and software design, as well as extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems to engage in software engineering activities.

Significant progress through an undergraduate computer science or computer engineering degree program (at least 2.5 years of progress) or enrollment in an M.S. or Ph.D. program.
Candidates working toward a degree in math, or statistics, or other hard science may be considered if they can demonstrate significant computer science or software engineering coursework or industry experience.
Prior experience or education regarding machine learning encouraged
