Software Engineer Intern - UI Splunk

The Client Engineering team at Splunk is responsible for developing the user interface for the Splunk platform. This includes providing tools for analyzing and visualizing data, configuring and monitoring the Splunk deployment and providing a customizable reporting framework. Our interface is built on a cutting-edge frontend web technology stack: javascript MVC, HTML5, SVG, and less.
We are passionate about the product we build and the technologies with which we build it. We are looking for smart, energetic and diligent students to come spend a summer on our team.
Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
- 2+ years of university level computer science education
- Currently a student
- Experience working with any of the following frontend web technologies: backbone.js, underscore.js, less
- Experience building a web application: in a class, as a personal hobby, as a job, as part of an open source project
- Experience with data visualization
- Experience with Splunk
- Currently pursuing Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
