RESPONSIBILITIESWork with senior staff on various features for Retrevo's highly scalable Java based application server. Implement both server and client side features. Work with QA to assure highest quality. Provide fast response to fix any technical issues on the production system.
REQUIREMENTS:
Motivated and eager to learn.
Fluent in CS concepts: data structures and object oriented programming
Worked in consumer facing web applications.
Worked in a small group environment with fast paced development
and release cycles.
2+ years of Java development experience.
Experiences in one or more of following: Java, SQL, JDBC, Servlet, Threads, JSP, Tomcat, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, and cross-browser HTML.
Pluses: scripting language, regex, memcached, distributed servers, social and mobile applications.
BS/MS in CS related field.
