Software Engineer - Java Alianza

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help the Alianza team create the best hosted voice solution in the world. We need talented problem solvers to help
us shape our product and meet the demands of our success. You?ll be working in our Platform Engineering team to
help build out the features of our unique VoIP solution, enhance a suite of web services, and improve our web
applications used by our partners. You?ll work with a focused team of capable individuals who will respect your input
and contributions.
KEY ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience with Java software development
2. Experience writing REST and SOAP based web services (JAX-RS, JAX-WS)
3. Experience with ORM libraries (JPA, Hibernate, EclipseLink, etc.)
4. Experience with Java application servers: JBoss, Glassfish, Tomcat, etc.
5. Experience with front-end development: HTML/Javascript/CSS/JQuery
Knowledge & Skills
1. Source control tool experience (Git, Mercurial, Subversion)
2. Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies, particularly Scrum
3. Familiarity with continuous build environments and tools (i.e.: Jenkins/Hudson)
4. Familiarity with Apache Maven
5. Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting
6. Experience with VoIP a plus (FreeSwitch, Asterisk, OpenSIPS, etc.)
7. C/C++ experience a plus
8. Groovy experience a plus
