POSITION OVERVIEW
Email Software Engineer is primarily responsible for designing, building, and supporting software for the Email channel.
The successful candidate will be charged with:
Build New Software: Design, implement, deploy, and maintain new software to improve our Email platform and/or reporting systems;
Product Enhancement: Improving the Email products through new feature implementation and optimization using the Java, Python, and PHP programming languages;
Reporting: Understanding, analyzing, building and communicating metrics to management;
Data Analysis: Working with internal systems and teams and conduct data analysis to proactively identify areas for optimization
CANDIDATE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:
5 years experience in software engineering
Strong knowledge and experience with Java, Python, and PHP
Solid working knowledge with Linux programming and operations, including scripting.
Strong knowledge and experience with SQL development with any DBMS, preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL
The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:
Must be detail-oriented and very self-motivated.
Be willing to work in a highly competitive, but rewarding environment with deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to express ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audience.
