NopSec is a leading information security product and service provider based in New York City. NopSec offers three primary product and services that include Unified Vulnerability Risk Management solution, Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing and Security Risk and Compliance Advisory Service.Responsibilities:
Vulnerability Risk Management (VRM) solution Product development, including python and Django coding, debugging of new and existing modules.
Developing, testing, and debugging network scanners.
Vulnerability research, exploit development and OpenVAS (nasl) plugin development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in computer science, Master in computer science or information security discipline preferred.
Experience with software development life cycle.
Python, C, C++, Java, and Ruby programming language knowledge.
Various OS internal workings such as Linux, UNIX, BSD, Solaris, Windows.
CISA, CISSP, SSCP, CEH certifications preferred.
Penetration testing and security vulnerability assessment experience preferred.
Prior experience using Open Source security Tools such as: AirCrack, Nessus/OpenVAS, Nmap, Metasploit, sipvicious and other open source security attack tools used in the security audit prossion is preferred.
