Job OverviewPeopleLinx is looking for someone with high-energy, excellent communication skills, and who is comfortable engaging and working with smart individuals within a fast-paced company. We are a team of leading experts set on changing the way big companies look at and use social media to meet their business goals ? i.e. Social Business.
We currently are hiring for a Software Engineer. Your responsibility will include developing our PeopleLinx software and expanding our feature offering based on client feedback and market needs. Product development is overseen by our Head of Product and Chief Operating Officer.

Description
A qualified individual must have a history of developing web applications that are current in user interface and design. The individual should have experience developing alone, without significant guidance, as well as part of a collaborative team. They must be able to demonstrate prior work both from a functioning web site as well as share actual source code.
Responsibilities
Web software development including technical design, coding and testing
Managing their own work assignments as outlined in our Agile infrastructure
Helping to establish and then meeting product development deadlines
Keeping current on the latest web development techniques

General Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree and 5+ years of web development experience
Hands on, working knowledge of PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS
Experience with CakePHP is a plus

A creative problem solver and innovative thinker.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ideally, prior experience with an emerging growth company; able to adapt and thrive in a fast changing environment.

Experience with LinkedIn and salesforce.com is considered a plus
