The Job
SpaceX is looking for someone who can own and maintain an existing Electronic Procedure System. This system is an internal mission-critical web app that is used to run various procedures during the testing and launch phases of each rocket. As the lead developer, you will be in charge of the entire application from requirements gathering to implementation and deployment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or raw knowledge sharpened over years of self-pursuit.
- Strong user experience design skills.
- Strong coding skills in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.
- Prior experience with MySQL and/or SQL Server.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to get things done in a fast paced startup culture.
- Proven ability to meet aggressive deadlines with high quality results.
- Experience with IIS7.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and IT Ops a plus.
