Your Mission:
The Quantivo platform is engineered to eliminate the complexity of the underlying technology so that users don't have to burden themselves with the details. As a member of the Quantivo development team, you will make fundamental contributions to a massively scalable cutting-edge NoSQL data management and query infrastructure?specifically designed for large-scale, cloud-based analytics.
Your Responsibilities:
Define and evolve the next generation analytics core and cloud-based serviced delivery architecture and application framework
Partner with the QA, operations, and product management to facilitate testable designs, quality software, and fanatic customers
Work hands-on designing and delivering software components for the platform and analytics core of the service
Contribute your expertise to the team and in turn benefit from the knowledge and expertise of others
Innovate in alignment with our business vision and customer requirements
Strive for excellence in customer experience, technology, methodology, and execution
Simplify, simplify, simplify!
Your Profile:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or similar)
5 or more years of relevant software development experience and knowledge of distributed system architecture
Journeyman programming skills in Java and experience programming in C++
Strong knowledge of common web development technology, open source components, and a working knowledge of SQL
Strong knowledge of the LAMP stack plus familiarity with Windows as a development environment
Experience using agile software development methods
Flexible, pragmatic, creative and open-minded
Ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment
Excellent verbal, listening, presentation, and writing skills
Strong sense of responsibility and good at taking the initiative
