Education Required BE/MCA or equivalent with formal computer education, strong academics and aptitude.
Experience Required
* 3-4 years experience in quality engineering processes preferably in a product development organization.
Skills and Knowledge Required
* Understand the end to end flow of the products
* Good knowledge of SQL commands, Linux
* Test Mobile web and native applications on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Blackberry and others)
o Test using remote test services such as Device Anywhere, Eggplant and Other
o Understanding of REST web services, HTML, Java Script and CSS preferred
o Able to operate mobile devices (iOS, Android, Blackberry and others)
o Mobile automation frameworks like UI Automation - Frank and Robotium is a big plus
o Scripting (Shell/Perl) is Plus
Participate in BRD/ FSD and Design reviews for projects
* Write Test Scenarios and get it reviewed and signed off as per the process
* Test and validate the backend functionality.
* Execute System level and Integration testing
* Understands the entire QA life cycle
* Experience with any bug tracking tool like Bugzilla and knows the entire bug life cycle
* Capture test results and reports them appropriately
* Banking and finance domain knowledge(A strong plus)
* Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
* Problem solving skills with an ability to research, analyze and find solutions independently
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work closely with teammates, product management and Engineering.
